Payments

It is important to clarify that the refund is made directly by the issuing entity of the payment method used (bank or card franchise). Therefore, the holder of the payment method must submit the request and follow up with said entity.
The user is responsible for monitoring their payment methods and immediately reporting any suspicious activity to the corresponding entity.
The shipping cost must be paid at the time of submitting the purchase offer, according to the settlement generated by the system based on the parameters of the carrier designated by Equipos de Buceo Medellín. If the system does not indicate the cost, it will be charged by the carrier upon delivery. If the user does not accept such cost, they must assume the cost of returning the package to Equipos de Buceo Medellín.
Product Delivery
Once the purchase offer is accepted and full payment received, Equipos de Buceo Medellín will arrange shipment within a maximum of 10 business days. Delivery time will depend exclusively on the carrier.
The user must receive the order at the indicated address, without guarantee of a specific day or time. If the shipping cost cannot be determined at the time of purchase, it will be informed within the next 3 business days. The user will have 1 business day to make the payment. If payment is not made or there is no carrier available for the area, it will be understood that the user has withdrawn from the purchase and a refund will be processed, deducting the corresponding expenses.
Any person at the delivery location is considered authorized to receive the order and verify the package condition. Equipos de Buceo Medellín is not responsible for damages not reported directly to the carrier at the time of delivery, which must be proven with photographs. In such cases, Equipos de Buceo Medellín will manage the claim with the carrier’s insurance, without assuming direct responsibility. A response will be given within twenty (20) business days once the claim management with the carrier has concluded.
If delivery is not possible due to causes beyond Equipos de Buceo Medellín, the order will be returned and the user must pick it up personally within 5 business days. If they do not, Equipos de Buceo Medellín may dispose of the product and refund the paid amount, deducting shipping, return, and bank commission costs.
If the user chooses a carrier other than the one defined by Equipos de Buceo Medellín, the responsibility for delivery and any damages will be assumed by the user from the moment the product is handed over to that company.

The courier service is managed by an external company, so it is not possible to commit to an exact delivery time.
Remember that the courier fee is not included in the product price; it will be added at the time of confirmation, depending on the delivery area. (Fees usually range between 18,000 COP and up to 40,000 COP depending on the distances traveled by the courier.)

Warranty and Returns
Unless otherwise stated, products come with a legal warranty of one (1) year. If they present manufacturing defects verified by the supplier or manufacturer, the user may request free repair. If the product cannot be repaired, it will be replaced or refunded. In the case of recurring defects, the user may choose between another repair, a partial or full refund, or a product replacement, subject to availability.
For products on special offer, a warranty of one (1) month will be offered, as these items, due to their particular conditions, do not include supplier warranties.
The warranty does not apply if the damage results from force majeure, third parties, misuse, normal wear and tear from use, unauthorized manipulation, or failure to follow usage or maintenance instructions.
To request a warranty claim, the user must send a request through the authorized channels and confirm it via email. The request must include:

The product must be delivered or shipped to the facilities of Equipos de Buceo Medellín.
Equipos de Buceo Medellín will respond within a maximum of 15 business days after receiving the complete request and the product. If the warranty is not approved, the product will be returned to the user along with the findings.
IMPORTANT: Flashlights, dive computers, cameras, and electronic devices in general are not covered under warranty for water damage.
Right of Withdrawal (Right to Cancel)
The user whose purchase offer has been accepted by Equipos de Buceo Medellín may exercise their right of withdrawal within five (5) business days following the date the product was delivered—or the date a delivery attempt was made, as per Law 2439 of 2024.
To do so, the user must notify their decision via email to info.equibuceomed@gmail.com and WhatsApp at +57 300 473 1121.
Requirements to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal:

Return the product in the same condition as received: unused, with original packaging, all attached documents, and in perfect physical, aesthetic, and mechanical condition.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
This right does not apply in the following cases:

Products whose price depends on financial market fluctuations that Equipos de Buceo Medellín cannot control.

Products made to the user’s specifications or customized.

Goods that, by nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire quickly.

Perishable goods.

Personal or intimate-use products.

Services that have already begun execution with the user’s consent.
Refunds
Once the right of withdrawal has been exercised and all requirements met, Equipos de Buceo Medellín will issue a refund within fifteen (15) calendar days, as established by Law 2439 of 2024.
Refunds may be issued through:

A bank transfer to the account indicated by the user.

In exceptional cases, physical delivery of the refund in cash, with prior verification of identity using the original ID or passport, a photocopy of the ID, and a signed receipt.

Return of Defective or Incorrect Products

Product must be unused, with original packaging and documents, and in perfect physical, aesthetic, and mechanical condition.

In such cases, Equipos de Buceo Medellín will cover transportation and any additional costs related to the return. The user must coordinate the logistics of the return with Equipos de Buceo Medellín.
Once the product is received in the indicated conditions, Equipos de Buceo Medellín will send the correct item within a maximum of five (5) business days. Shipping costs in this case will also be covered by Equipos de Buceo Medellín.
Size-Specific Products (Fins, Wetsuits, and Others) For the purchase of fins, wetsuits, or any other product that requires a specific size, the user must ensure in advance that the correct size is selected. To do so, they may rely on the assistance provided by the sales team through the official communication channels of Equipos de Buceo Medellín (contact line or email), as well as on the images, guides, and descriptions available on the platform.
In the event that the product received does not match the required size, the user may request an exchange only for another product of the same value, provided that they notify the situation within forty-eight (48) hours following the receipt of the order and submit the corresponding proof through the aforementioned communication channels.
